Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid inhaler used for the prevention and long-term control of asthma symptoms, including difficulty breathing, wheezing, chest tightness, and coughing. It helps reduce inflammation and irritation in the airways, allowing air to flow more easily into the lungs. This medicine is suitable for adults and children 5 years of age and older and is intended for regular use as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How to Use

• Beclomethasone comes as an inhaler for oral inhalation.
• Use the inhaler twice daily or as directed by your doctor.
• Remove the protective cap before use.
• Breathe out fully through your mouth.
• Hold the inhaler upright or horizontally with the mouthpiece facing you.
• Place the mouthpiece between your lips and close them tightly around it.
• Slightly tilt your head back.
• Inhale slowly and deeply through the mouth while pressing the inhaler once.
• Remove the inhaler and hold your breath for 5–10 seconds, then breathe out gently.
• If more than one puff is prescribed, repeat the steps as advised.
• Replace the protective cap after use.
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use and spit out the water (do not swallow).
• Use the inhaler regularly for best results and take it at the same time each day.
• Do not increase the dose or frequency without medical advice.
